SwampHacks is a 36 hour open coding event where students become creators. In the time allotted, students from around the country come together at the University of Florida to collaborate on projects, mingle in activities, and network with sponsors for a fully immersive experience.

The Best Hack for Social Good will be judged on the following criteria:
Social Impact (How well does the solution address the challenge or problem?), Innovation and Creativity (How creative is the solution? Does it bring new ideas and approaches to solving the problem?), Completeness of Solution (Is the solution finished? Does it work? Is there a roadmap for future enhancements?), Sustainability (Is the solution sustainable within the context of the community it’s aiming to impact?), Design (Is the solution well thought out and designed?). This prize is for the team who built an application which provides the best solution to a common problem. The criteria are: Great User Experience, Team that solved the problem and provided the most value to the consumer/customer in their application, Team which demonstrated the highest quality of technical implementation.

The winning project will be selected based on how well it demonstrates the Booz Allen values of Passionate Service and Collective Ingenuity. The winning team members will be awarded with a pair of Beats Headphones!

Organizer's Choice Award
